"Stickerville Sessions" - June 22-24, 2009 
Workshops are held Monday through Wednesday in conjunction with
The National Oldtime Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho.
Hosted by Weiser Friends of the Fiddle, Inc.
Classes are held in the Stickerville campground or in the Intermountain Cultural Center & Museum.
No sign up necessary - just drop by at the location listed. Suggested donation of $10 ea.

 

Workshop rules for the Museum rooms

No food or open beverage containers.

No wandering around on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Go straight to the ballroom for workshops.

Ballroom fire escape door must be closed tight when the class is over.

All trash removed when class is over.

Class Description: "Washtub Bass: It's No Joke!
Learn how to build and play the single-string washtub bass. This seemingly simple instrument can be yours to play after you master the skills necessary: ear-training, concept of the bass line, and string dampening technique. It's also lots of fun!"
