Our trip of "Discovery" - This was where Lewis and Clark crossed the Continental Divide. On this trip, we studied Lewis and Clark and the Nez Perce Indians. Dave was always fond of history stuff and Bryan and I had many great trips together where History was the main attraction. Bryan and I were always glad to travel with Dave.

Camping at Bruneau Sand Dunes. Of course, Always looking for Birds. We kept a bird list on most every trip we took - Often pouring over the bird book (which Bryan has) to try and break our last record.

Bruneau Canyon, Idaho - Not many people know about this place.

NearNear Mountain Home Air Force Base - Dave trained out of this base near the end of WW II. He always talked of his love of the desert around here. He was a navigator on BIG bombers - They had no GPS back then and used the stars to navigate at night. It is funny that Becky and I ended up about 60 miles from Mt. Home Air Force Base nearly 60 years later !
